This qualification is ideal for:
Candidates who have completed the ProQual Level 3 Access to Aesthetic Practice.
And must have or be working towards a Level 4 Award in Core Knowledge of Laser Safety. (Check out our units only.)
What Will You Learn?
The course includes three mandatory units:
Health and Safety in a Salon Environment: Learn industry standards for maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace.
Infection Control and Prevention for Cosmetic, Aesthetic and Needle-Related Treatments: Master techniques to ensure client and practitioner safety during treatments.
Providing Initial Consultation With Clients: Develop skills to create personalised treatment plans.
& one optional unit:
Principles and Practice of Photo Rejuvenation Treatments
or
Principles and Practice of Hair Growth Reduction
Practical will commence after 50% of theory is done.
Optional unit requirements for practical assessments are:
5 x Skin Rejuvenation (Thread Veins / Pigmentation / Skin Rejuvenation)
5 X Hair growth (Reduce hair growth on body & face)
Graduates can progress to higher qualifications such as:
Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice.
ProQual Level 6 or 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice for further career growth.
